Obama proposes to bribe voters with a $1,000 windfall by taxing oil companies profits away. Obama hates freedom, loves power over people. He is a totalitarian at heart. Nobody is compelled to buy from Exxon-Mobil, nobody is compelled to work for E-M (or Conoco or Chevron for that matter), nobody is compelled to own stock in or loan money to Exxon. Voluntary associations and transactions that benefit those involved as opposed to oppressing a minority merely because they are successful is nothing more than an updated version of Hitler killing the greedy Jews or Stalin killing the Kulaks by starvation. His proposal to steal the profits of shareholders to bribe voters is taken from the Hugo Chávez of Venezuela playbook.
